 Yes MP is the first state in India which will provide air facility to the pilgrims.  Earlier no state has provided this facility for the pilgrims of its state. Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to provide air facility to the pilgrims.

 Under the Teerth Darshan Yojana, elderly people will be taken for pilgrimage through air travel.  


(1) Who will get the benefit of Air teerth darshan yojna 

 -

 Under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme, elders above 65 years of age will get the benefit of this scheme.  Apart from this, it has been said that the elderly getting benefits under this scheme should not be a tax foot in any way. 


 (2) The first air journey of CM Teerth Yojana -

 For the first air journey of CM Teerth Yojana, Indigo flight will be on 21st May.  This journey will leave for Prayagraj from Bhopal airport at 9.50 am.


In the journey, passengers will be allowed to carry a maximum weight of 15 kg in check-in and a hand bag weighing up to 7 kg with them.  Total journey will be of 24 to 48 hours. 


 The pilgrims will return after visiting the next day on Monday.  Next air travel - After May 21, the next air travel will be on May 23. In this journey, the pilgrims of Agar-Malwa will go to Sydney from Indore airport.  After this, the third flight will be on May 25. 


 In this journey, the pilgrims of Betul will go to Madhura Vrindavan from Bhopal airport.  After this, the next pilgrimage will be in June, in which pilgrims from Khandwa will go to Gangasagar.
